The FocusFix Virtual Modelling System

FocusFix is proud to launch the most sophisticated Virtual Modelling Software available today. Developed 100% in-house, our VMS software is leading the way in the online supply of prescription spectacles and sunglasses.

The FocusFix VMS software allows you to try on potential frames you find while browsing our web site. It will correctly size the frames to your face and will even allow you to see how you'd look with the various tints we offer.

You can virtually model any of our frames displaying the VMS logo in the dressing room. We have over 100 frames up and running already and we'll be adding more frames daily over the next few weeks.

Set-up Instructions

1. Upload a photo.
2. Click the center of each eye.
3. Enter your pupilliary distance.
4. Confirm your name.

...and that's all there is too it, you'll then be able to virtually model potential frames. We've put together a number of flash demonstrations to show you just how easy it is.

Java

Our software is written in Java which comes free with most operating systems, if you're a regular web user you may have an up-to-date version already and the VMS software should work fine, if you have any problems however updating to the latest version of Java should resolve them.

If you have a modern computer you may also be able to improve performance by increasing the memory available to Java, this is purely optional and we've put a help page up to explain how.
